Temperature is the one thing you can’t recover after the fact. The Vitalis cold-chain service is built around four validated lanes — ambient, refrigerated (2–8°C), frozen (−25 to −15°C), and ultra-frozen (−80 to −60°C) — with the temperature logged at each transfer and compared against the specimen’s acceptable range.
When a reading falls out of range, the platform is built to flag it against the stability window immediately, so you can act before the specimen is compromised. Ultra-frozen lanes ship on dry ice with the correct UN1845 marking.
